    1.

    Feasibility Study and Concept Development

Assess the technical viability of the offshore wind project in its early stages.

    • Site Selection: Conduct metocean analysis, seabed surveys, and wind resource assessments to identify suitable locations
    • Technology Selection: Determine the most appropriate turbine models, foundation types (e.g., monopile, jacket, floating), and grid connection methods
    • Preliminary Design: Develop initial project concepts, including turbine layout, electrical infrastructure, and access routes
    • Cost Estimation: Estimate capital expenditures (CAPEX), operational expenditures (OPEX), and Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for the project.
    • Gantt Chart and Critical Path Analysis: Create detailed schedules using project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) that track the critical path of the project.

      2.

      Design & Certification Management

Oversee the detailed engineering design & Certification phase to ensure that all technical aspects of the project meet performance, regulatory, and safety requirements.

      • Turbine Design Oversight: Work with turbine suppliers to ensure wind turbine specifications align with site conditions and project goals.
      • Foundation and Substructure Design: Manage the design of fixed or floating foundations, considering soil conditions, wave loading, and installation methods
      • Electrical Design: Oversee the design of inter-array cables, export cables, offshore substations, and grid connections to ensure efficient power delivery.
      • Logistics and Installation Plan: Develop the installation plan, accounting for weather windows, vessel availability, and construction schedules.
      • Design Reviews and Validation: Ensure all designs undergo rigorous validation and third-party verification to meet certification standards.

        3.

         Quality Assurance and Control

Implement quality assurance and control systems to ensure that all project components meet required technical standards.

        • Inspection Plans: Develop detailed inspection and testing plans for critical components (turbines, foundations, cables) to ensure they meet specifications.
        • Supplier Audits: Conduct supplier and contractor audits to verify that manufacturing processes and quality control systems are robust
        • Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and resolve any non-conformances that arise during the design, manufacturing, or installation phases
        • O&M Strategy Development: Develop an O&M strategy that includes preventive maintenance schedules, condition monitoring, and fault detection systems.

        • HSE Plan Development: Develop and enforce a project-specific HSE plan covering both offshore and onshore activities.
